Job Summery

The fit out (finishing works) coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all finishing works, including labor force, quality control and coordination with clients and management

SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILIES

  • Monitoring and approval of drawings and specification releases (direct interface with Design team).
  • Monitoring and approval of all Shop drawing submittals and approvals (direct interface with Design team).
  • Logging and monitoring issue and follow up on all RFIs from / to Trade Contractors to completion.
  • Hold regular meetings to coordinate key design approvals and tasks in alignment with construction program and Trade Contract documentation.
  • Direct interfacing with Trade Contractors site supervision to ensure timely delivery to meet program, and quality standards.
  • Daily monitoring of fit out works site progress, quality and safety.
  • Supervise teams of Carpenters, Masons, Plumbers, Electricians and Low Voltage Technicians
  • Coordinate with all parties to ensure the perfect fit out work flow during all phases of shop drawing, execution, installation and submittal.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the properties and the progress of tenant fit-outs, including monitoring tenants, tenant’s contractor and construction progress; and provide any assistance that needed to ensure tenant stays on target to open timely.

Job Requirement

  • Qualification
    • BSC DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINERING/ ARCHITECTURE
    • A minimum of 5 years working experience as a project coordinator preferably in construction/ real estate sector/ fit out construction.
    • Experience in managing interior fit out project especially in commercial and office design & build
    • Proactive in ensuring the accomplishment of organizational goals & objectives
    • Good understanding of project control with respect to Quality, cost and Time management
    • Honest, discipline, self-motivated and hardworking
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS
    • Excellent Managerial & Supervisory skills;
    • Knowledge of relevant Computer System and software such  AutoCAD, project management and other engineering software;
    • ability to coordinate with different services and other specialist trades
